This instruction book on the craft of engraving and printing using copper plates, written in the late 17th century, describes techniques that were being developed in Plantin's time. The methods of copperplate printing remained essentially unchanged for many years.

This is a standard reference on the medieval bestiary. It includes one chapter each on the Greek and the Latin Physiologus.

Migne, Jacques-Paul. Patrologia Cursus Completus, Series Graeca, volumes 41-43 (Paris, 1860-64).

Migne transcribed all works attributed to Epiphanius (including some spurious works), usually in both Greek and Latin. In volume 41 are two versions of the Vitae S. Epiphanius (columns 23-74 and 74-114), neither of them exactly matching the text in the book. In volume 43 is the homily In die festo palmarum (columns 427-438), and the Physiologus (columns 517-534).
