BREAKING OF RULES

It is the duty of the Marshals to report cases of damage or breaking of rules to the Students' Council, who will inform the Faculty Committee.  The Students' Council may merely warn the offenders or punish them by debarring them from attending College functions, or by asking them to pay for damages.  Their decision may be appealed to the Faculty, through the Principal.  In cases of a very serious nature the Students' Council may refer the matter to the Faculty.

DISCIPLINE

Discipline is in the hands of both the Faculty and Students' Council.  For further information read the "Constitution" published below.

Students are asked to be especially careful when attending Laboratories at the High School.  All rules of the High School must be observed strictly.  It must be remembered that we are only guests in the High School Building.

Regulation of Board of School Trustees of Victoria forbidding Hazing and other Unauthorized Activities.

  1. Hazing
  2. Any act by any pupil or student attending any of the above mentioned schools or college or by any one at all causing injury or likely to cause injury to any person or damage to school property.

Any pupil or student violating the above regulation will be liable to immediate expulsion.

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

The College authorities do not assume responsibility regarding conduct.  This is considered to be entirely the concern of the students and their parents.  Reluctantly, the Students' Council does assume some of this responsibility.  It is empowered to fine students up to $25.00 for misdemeanours, and will not hesitate to do so should the need arise.
